Margarita Jorge is a social worker from Argentina who has worked extensively in her home country with transplant and palliative care patients. Dr. Rachelle Bernacki, M.D., M.S. is the Director of Quality Initiatives for Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care and an attending in adult palliative care at DFCI. Together, they led an interactive session for Students for Global Oncology offering insights into patient and physician perspectives in life-threatening illness, and how they differ between the U.S. and Argentina.
