FROM THE CO-FOUNDERS

We founded GO in 2012 while we were Hematology/Oncology Fellows at Harvard Medical School. Our objective was to achieve more equitable cancer care, in even the most resource-constrained settings, by creating and fueling active and dynamic partnerships between skilled professionals around the world with cancer providers in resource-constrained areas.  We focused these multidisciplinary teams on solving current, significant problems.

As we developed GO into the 501(c)(3)* nonprofit organization it is today, we were fortunate to meet many people who shared our goals and formed our volunteer staff.  In the short time since we began these efforts, we have grown to an all-volunteer corps of over 70 individuals based in North America and abroad.  Together with partners in Malawi, India, Botswana, Rwanda, Belarus, and other countries, we have started to make strides toward our shared vision.

Thank you for your interest in our work. We hope you will join us in these efforts.
