Co-Founder & CEO, The MAX Foundation
I have always been drawn to service. Right out of High School I received a nursing degree in my home country of Argentina, and worked as a surgeon’s assistant for 7 years. Subsequently I obtained my teaching degree in Science, and later my Master of Science Degree from the University of Washington.
For the past 15 years I have been involved with The Max Foundation (www.themaxfoundation.org), building programs for access to treatment, care and support for people living with cancer, with special focus on low and middle income countries. I have lead the organization since 2005.
Nowadays, I learn every day from the people I serve.
