If you would like to direct family and friends to make a donation in lieu of flowers, please give people the direct link to our donation page.

You may provide these instructions to family and friends who wish to donate to a memorial fund:

“Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to Global Oncology, Inc. P.O. Box 72101, Oakland CA 94612. Checks may be made payable to Global Oncology, Inc. with indication that they are in memory of [name].“

Gifts of Stock

Your accountant or broker can assist you in making a gift of stock via direct transfer to Global Oncology, Inc. Giving a gift of publicly traded stock that has increased in value and that you have owned for more than one year may provide greater market value of the stock and you avoid paying the capital gains tax on any increase in the current value over the original cost of the stock. You may also save by not incurring brokerage fees because you are transferring ownership rather than selling the stock.

Planned Gifts

You can support Global Oncology, Inc. through your estate. Including Global Oncology, Inc. in your estate plan will not only assist you in reaching and achieving your own philanthropic and charitable giving goals, but it will also allow Global Oncology to continue its mission to bring the best in cancer care to underserved patients around the globe.

There are many charitable planned giving options available to you. For example, you can make a planned gift to Global Oncology, Inc by naming us as a beneficiary of your last will and testament, life insurance policy, or retirement plan. You can also name Global Oncology, Inc as a beneficiary of a charitable trust. Your attorney or financial advisor can advise you of the various types of charitable trusts and assist you in establishing one that is tailored to your personal needs.
