Global Oncology’s mission is to bring the best cancer care to underserved patients around the world. We collaborate across geographic, professional and academic borders to improve cancer care, research and education.

About GO
GO is a volunteer community of physicians, scientists, designers, engineers, public health experts, policy makers, nurses, lawyers, students, and other professionals working in teams to help people throughout the world who are treating cancer and its related pain.
GO projects are developed and run by highly-skilled volunteers with mentorship from more senior volunteers. Current programs and projects are in the areas of advanced training, education, and technology development. GO collaborates with international partners to improve cancer care, research and education in resource-limited settings.
We founded GO in 2012 while we were Hematology/Oncology Fellows at Harvard Medical School. Our objective was to achieve more equitable cancer care in even the most resource-constrained settings by creating and fueling active and dynamic partnerships between skilled professionals around the world with cancer providers in resource-constrained areas. We focused these multidisciplinary teams on solving current, significant problems in access to cancer care.
As we developed GO into the 501(c)(3)* nonprofit organization it is today, we were fortunate to meet many people who shared our goals and formed our volunteer staff. In the short time since we began these efforts, we have grown our volunteer corps to over 100 individuals based in North America and abroad. Together with partners in Nigeria, India, Botswana, Rwanda, Haiti, Belize and other countries, we have made great strides towards our shared vision.
