The GO Map

The GO Map is a web-based platform that catalogs international cancer research, cancer care and cancer outreach programs.

The platform aligns cancer care efforts of government agencies, non-profit organizations, academic institutions and industry partners to facilitate cancer control in resource-poor settings.

Objectives

  1. Facilitate the breaking down of silos and building of collaboration

  2. Accelerate progress, ensure a balanced investment of resources, and align global cancer care and cancer efforts

  3. Provide resources to view and better understand international efforts in cancer research and control

History

The creation of The GO Map – formerly known as The Global Cancer Project Map – is a result of an alliance between Global Oncology (GO) and the National Cancer Institute’s Center for Global Health.

Thanks to the database expertise and content standards provided by the National Cancer Institute, a component of the National Institutes of Health and an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, The GO Map provides resources to partners across the world to address the challenges of cancer and reduce cancer-related deaths.
